Julie M. Benz (born May 1 1972) was an American actress who is best known for her role as Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she won the award in 2006. Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role on the form of a Series Mini-Series (or Motion Picture Made for Television. Her role was on the show No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on May 13 the 13th of May, 2011. Darla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel are among her well-known characters.
