Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay, the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the final season episode premiered on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an extensive online presence using social networks.
